01 · NEARBY
Talk to nearby adventurers
The planned feature uses character position to connect players in the same server, map and instance. Voice changes with proximity; moving away or changing maps changes who can hear whom.
Hearing range and supported platforms will be announced at release. Party and guild voice channels are not currently available.
02 · START
After the release announcement
These are preparation steps for release, not a way to access the feature today.
Sign in to your account
Use your own account and select a character you own that is currently in play. Read the voice terms before confirming.
Open the announced voice controls
Use only the entry announced by ROGOMOVE. Wait for connection status and nearby speakers. Opening the microphone does not require a game chat command.
Set headphones and listening volume
Choose your listening device and a comfortable overall volume. You can listen without opening your microphone or granting microphone permission.
Choose a microphone and speaking mode
Choose an input device and start with push-to-talk. Open the microphone and allow access only when you want to speak. Voice requests microphone audio, not camera access.
Stop when finished
Close the microphone to stop device capture, or disconnect when you finish using voice. Check the controls before leaving.
03 · CONTROLS
What each control does
Open mic / Close mic
Start or stop microphone capture
Opening the mic requires consent and device permission. Push-to-talk does not transmit until you hold the talk control.
Push-to-talk
Transmit while held; release to stop sending
Recommended when starting. Releasing the talk key or Alt stops transmission.
Continuous mic
Transmit continuously with the mic open in this mode
After leaving the controls or pausing listening, you must explicitly resume speaking. Returning to the page does not restart transmission automatically.
Pause listening / Resume listening
Pause listening and transmission; resume listening when ready
Pausing listening does not always close device capture. Use Close mic to stop capture.
Mute / Unmute a speaker
Stop hearing that speaker on your side
Applies for the current connection, including when the same speaker comes back into range. Disconnecting clears the choice.
Listening volume
Set overall received volume from 0–100; default 80
This is an overall control, not a volume slider for each speaker.
Disconnect
Leave voice and release that connection's audio
Reconnect and open the mic yourself when returning.
Shortcuts in the voice controls
- Alt+M
- Toggle microphone capture
- Alt+V
- Hold to transmit in push-to-talk mode
Shortcuts work only while the voice controls are focused. They are not global or game-window shortcuts and do not interrupt typing in text fields.
You can choose offered alternatives such as Alt+B or Alt+N. Mic-toggle and talk shortcuts must differ. Hiding the page or changing focus stops transmission.
04 · SETUP
Choose devices before speaking
Microphone
Select the microphone you use. Check its cable or wireless connection and any headset mute switch. If unplugged, select a device again before reopening it.
Headphones / speakers
Choose an output in the controls when supported by the browser. If the option is unavailable, change the operating system's default output.
Microphone permission
Web voice requires HTTPS and your permission before accessing the mic. If previously blocked, review the site's microphone permission in your browser and app permission in the operating system.
Supported platforms
Windows, macOS and mobile support has not been announced. A web or mobile game beta does not mean voice is available on that platform.
05 · YOUR CHOICE
You choose whether to speak or listen
Capture starts after you open the mic and allow access. You can listen only, close the mic or leave voice.
When account or character eligibility ends, capture stops. Restoring eligibility requires you to open the mic again.
The planned nearby list uses anonymous speaker labels rather than account names. Muting affects only you; it is not a ban or a permanent block.
Voice data handling and release-specific privacy terms will be announced before use. Read them again when the feature launches.
Keep voice welcoming
Be respectful and avoid loud music or disruptive noise. Do not share anyone's personal information or passwords. If uncomfortable, mute, leave voice and contact the team.

Troubleshooting
No microphone button or entry
The feature is not available to players yet. Wait for the ROGOMOVE release announcement; do not edit game files or install other software.
Cannot open the mic / no permission prompt
After release, check connection status, account and character eligibility first. Then check site and operating system permissions, select a connected microphone and open it again.
Shortcut does not transmit
Focus the voice controls outside a text field. Choose push-to-talk and open the mic first. Voice-page shortcuts do not work while the game window has focus.
Transmission stops after switching back
This prevents accidental transmission. Resume continuous mode explicitly, or hold talk again in push-to-talk mode. If eligibility ended, open the mic again.
Cannot hear others
Check that listening is not paused, volume is above 0 and the speaker is not muted. Check headphones and output. If the browser blocks audio playback, press Resume listening.
Same map but cannot hear each other
You must also be nearby in the same instance. Matching map names in different instances, or being out of range, does not connect voice.
Echo, distortion or interruptions
Use headphones, lower volume and keep the microphone away from speakers. Check network and devices and try push-to-talk. If problems persist, close the mic and reconnect.
Microphone unplugged / output cannot be changed
Reconnect the mic, select an input and open it again. If output selection fails, use the operating system's audio settings.
Disconnected or no longer eligible
Check that your account is signed in and your character is still in play. Reconnect when ready and open the mic yourself; reconnecting does not enable it automatically.
