Before you start
- Be a regular male Archer with Job Level 40 or higher.
- Spend all Skill Points before changing class.
- Job Level 50 does not skip the quest or song test.
This route allows one class change and instrument reward. Retry failed songs. Once the Lutie quest is complete, it does not need to be repeated for the song test.

Step-by-step walkthrough
- 01
Apply to Lalo and give a flower
Speak to Lalo and choose Could you sing for me, please? followed by Yes, it was very nice. Speak again and choose You have a nice voice. and Of course.
Give him one accepted flower. He asks you to befriend Snowysnow in Lutie. Complete the story before returning to speak to Lalo; speaking during the unfinished story restarts the Lutie quest.

Begin Snowysnow's story
Speak to Duffle inside the house in Lutie. Speak to Snowman and choose Snowysnow? Then finish speaking to Poze for clues.
Visit Uncle Hairy, called Cantata in the dialogue. Bring 1 Squid Ink and 1 Sticky Mucus; both are consumed. Then visit Lenient Aunt, called Thachentze.

Deliver the salt and finish the story
Thachentze asks you to collect salt from Snowysnow. Speak to Snowman and return to her. The salt is handled through dialogue; you do not need to buy a salt item.
Speak to Hashokii about Snowysnow, then to Little Boy (Charu Charu) and Little Girl (Marcell). Return to Snowman to hear the ending and receive a gift. You can now return to Lalo.

Lalo's song test
Lalo assigns one of five songs. Enter each line exactly, including capitalization, punctuation and spaces. Use all six lines of the song he starts singing, as listed below.
Even one incorrect line requires a new attempt and may assign another song. You do not need to repeat the completed Snowysnow story.

Choose a gift and change class
After passing the song, spend all Skill Points and speak to Lalo to change class. Submit 60 of one wood type for an instrument, or decline and change class without it.
Trunk awards Violin [3] (1901). Barren Trunk or Solid Trunk awards Mandolin [2] (1903). Fine-grained Trunk awards Lute [2] (1905) below Job Level 50, or Harp [2] (1910) at Job Level 50. The 60 wood are consumed. Check your inventory before speaking: if you carry multiple complete types, Trunk takes priority, followed by Barren, Solid and Fine-grained.
Completion rewards
- Change class to Bard
- 1 instrument based on wood type and Job Level, only if you submit 60 wood.
- Snowysnow's ending awards one random gift: 5 or 10 Candy (529); 5 or 10 Candy Cane (530); 1 or 2 Piece of Cake (539); or 5 or 10 Well-baked Cookie (538).
