Before you start

  • Reach Prontera and the A–Z Headgear Exchange NPC.
  • Have the items, Zeny and points required by your recipe. No class-change quest is required first.
  • Keep enough inventory slots and weight capacity for the reward.

Repeat when you have the complete cost for each exchange.

What to prepare

Choose headgear before farming

Search for headgear below and open its recipe to see every material and quantity. Costs are per attempt; you do not need materials for every headgear item.

Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. 01

    Choose your reward

    Search the recipe list below for a headgear name or ID. Open an item you like and note its materials, Zeny and points requirements.

    Check the recipe's success chance. Below 100%, you may lose the cost without receiving headgear. For chance-boosting items, check the types and quantities supported by the recipe.

    • Similarly named headgear with different card slots may have different IDs. Check the exact ID before farming.
  2. 02

    Gather materials

    Open a material's drop sources to find monsters, or use @ii followed by its ID to inspect the item and @whodrops followed by its ID to find in-game drops.

    Collect every required item and prepare enough money for your intended attempts. Guide costs are for one attempt.

    • Check inventory slots and weight before returning. Avoid carrying unnecessary valuable items with the same IDs as required materials.
  3. 03

    Choose an NPC category

    Visit the A–Z Headgear Exchange at Prontera 191/125. Open the headgear's letter category or the new quest headgear category, then choose the item matching your recipe.

    Review the NPC summary before confirming, particularly the selected quantity, card slots, cost and success rate.

    • If items are missing, cancel and gather more. You do not need to restart the entire quest.
  4. 04

    Confirm the exchange and inspect the reward

    Confirmation consumes the money, points, materials and chance-boosting items used in that order. Success awards the recipe's headgear. Failure awards nothing and does not refund the cost.

    Check the headgear name and quantity in your inventory after the exchange. Return for more when you have the required materials.

    • Multiple attempts in one order do not guarantee every item succeeds. A percentage does not imply a guaranteed number of attempts.
