Step-by-step walkthrough

1. 01

   Check the schedule, enter the tower and sign the contract

   Talk to Tower Keeper at hu_fild01 140,163. Entry costs 5,000 Zeny, or 3,000 with a contract, every time you enter. Even if ordinary portals allow tower exploration, check the activity schedule and raid eligibility first.

   Visit Guide Ditze on floor 1 at tha_t01 149,78 and agree to sign the contract free to begin exploration. Guide scroll ID 63001 is free if you have a contract and no scroll, or costs 10,000 Zeny for another copy.

   Visit the Guide on floor 2 at tha_t02 231,161 and show your contract to pass to floor 3. A five-member party is not required under these conditions.

2. 02

   Red key · break the energy barrier, then investigate

   At Rune Device, tha_t03 67,70, equip a Weapon Level of at least 4 in either hand. Choose to break the energy barrier by force, then talk again and investigate the device to receive Red Key (ID 7421) ×1.

   This checks the weapon’s Weapon Level, rather than refinement or Base Level. If the requirement fails, change weapons and try again.

3. 03

   Yellow key · a random three-digit code

   Rune Device at tha_t04 198,197 selects three distinct digits from 1–9. Your code remains unchanged between guesses and has no fixed answer. Enter a value between 123–987, with no 0 or repeated digits.

   Bulls means a correct digit in the correct position; Cows means a correct digit in the wrong position. Record guesses and use feedback to eliminate possibilities. Reaching 3 Bulls awards Yellow Key (ID 7422) ×1. After an incorrect guess, talk and try again.

4. 04

   Blue key · bring the red and yellow keys

   At Eagle Statue, tha_t05 62,179, bring Red Key ID 7421 and Yellow Key ID 7422, one each. Choose Insert Red Key and Yellow Key to receive Blue Key (ID 7423) ×1. The original keys remain in your inventory at this step.

5. 05

   Green and black keys · follow the menu sequences

   At Wheel Statue, tha_t06 226,226, choose Raise → Lower → Shift → Raise → Raise to receive Green Key (ID 7424) ×1.

   At Splendid Sword, tha_t06 200,181, choose Hilt → Blade → Blade to receive Black Key (ID 7425) ×1. A wrong selection restarts the sequence; earlier choices do not accumulate toward completion.

6. 06

   Pass floor 7 and convert the colored stones on floor 8

   Portal To 7F at tha_t06 119,121 requires one each of 7421–7425. It consumes Black Key 7425 ×1, converts it to Black Charm Stone 7430 ×1 and warps you to floor 7. The other four keys remain.

   Continue to floor 8 and convert in quest order: Shining Crystal 47,60: consume 7421 ×1 → 7426 ×1 (red) 48,148: consume 7422 ×1 → 7427 ×1 (yellow) 92,148: consume 7423 ×1 → 7428 ×1 (blue) 92,60: consume 7424 ×1 → 7429 ×1 (green) Choose the matching color conversion. Do not skip the crystal sequence on your first completion.

   Floor 12 · use the statues in order and open the boss route

   On floor 12, follow this sequence: 1. Gold Religious Statue 96,58: consume Yellow Charm Stone 7427 ×1 → Fragment of Agony 7436 ×1 2. Green Wiseman Statue 161,58: consume Green Charm Stone 7429 ×1 → Fragment of Misery 7437 ×1 3. Blue Angel Statue 104,18: consume Blue Charm Stone 7428 ×1 → Fragment of Hatred 7438 ×1 4. Bloody Knight Statue 153,18: consume Red Charm Stone 7426 ×1 → Fragment of Despair 7439 ×1 5. Dark Lord Statue 128,86: consume Black Charm Stone 7430 ×1 to unlock the final step.

   Portal To Boss at 129,51 checks the final quest stage before warping you to thana_boss 142,223. Do not change statue order: quest-log progress controls portal eligibility.

   Place the fragments at all four magic circles

   Each circle in thana_boss requires its matching fragment: Agony 61,172 → 7436 Misery 201,76 → 7437 Hatred 80,76 → 7438 Despair 217,168 → 7439

   Each circle consumes one fragment. Activating all four summons Memory of Thanatos ID 1708 at 135,159 with HP 2,000,000. Circle order is unrestricted, but progress belongs to the shared area and other players may activate circles too. An existing boss prevents another simultaneous summon.

9. 09

   Defeat the boss, claim the chest and leave

   After the boss dies, Treasure Box at thana_boss 139,215 and Exit Portal at 136,126 open. Each account claims once for that boss death. You do not need to land the final blow.

   Raid chests share a limit of 2 reward sets per account per day across the six dungeons, The Other Dimension and Thanatos. The day changes at midnight server time. Each chest or round can be claimed once per account.

   The base reward is Dungeon Thanatos Tower (ID 63500) ×1, quantity 1–2. Independent rolls add Easy 80%, one pool ID ×1–3; Normal 50%, ID 616 ×1; Rare 20%, one of 61209/61210 ×1; Legend 5%, one ID from the complete set ×1. These are reward-pool names, not tower entry modes.

   After claiming, use Exit Portal to return to hu_fild01 140,158. There is no additional completion EXP/Zeny or guaranteed boss drop list.

   • Make room in carrying capacity and inventory slots for the entire set before opening.
   • Claims are available only after the boss dies and the treasure window opens. Check capacity for the entire rolled set. If it cannot fit, the account is not marked as having claimed this boss chest and its daily raid claim is not consumed. Make room and return while the chest remains open.
10. 10

    Summon again or use a shortcut next time

    Dark Ritualist at thana_boss 144,215 consumes Dungeon Thanatos Tower (ID 63500) ×10 to summon again when no boss is present. You must meet the activity schedule and level requirement, but this option does not require activating the circles again.

    Express Guide at tha_t01 149,227 charges 5,000 Zeny to reach thana_boss 142,223 after your quest has previously reached the boss room. A personal boss kill is not required. Check the activity schedule first.

    Tower Keeper’s progress-based shortcut menu shows destinations for your current stage: floor3 after starting the contract; floor4 after red; floor5 after yellow; floor6 after blue; floors7 and8 after converting black; floor12 after all four crystals; the summit after completing statues/reaching the boss room. The shortcut costs5,000 Zeny, or3,000 with a contract. This menu does not permanently unlock every previously visited floor.

    No specified daily cooldown applies to the puzzle sequence. Summoning again consumes coins without increasing the account’s two chest claims. Death or departure does not return consumed stones/fragments. Check your quest log and items before repeating.
